Welcome to Traditional Pride Stable!

Traditional Pride Stable is Located in Whitewater Wisconsin. Centered on 76 beautiful acres. Established in 1973 by Frank and Patricia Welch, and now leased by daughter Jennifer.

We started off with Mustang horses. Very agile and sound. A wonderful breed and a great working animal, suitable for just about any discipline. I will always own one for that one of a kind jump on and go pleasure animal on which I grew up showing and riding with great success.

Then in working with the arabian and Saddlebred breeds, I realized the extreme intelligence of these animals and there willingness to please. There spirit is unmatched and beauty uncompared. There is nothing like being owned by a horse, greeted every day in such a kind and loving way. Showing them is a true pleasure. We have now grown into breeding these wonderful breeds. Focusing on that loving temperament, great conformation, and natural motion with athletic ability.

With the Arabian breed, we have decided to focus on Straight Egyptian heritage.

The lines in which can be traced back to the very beginning of the breeds heritage.

In breeding the Saddlebred horses we have decided to include the Pinto color, raising the pinto saddlebred standard quality through and through.

We also have found that the crossing of these wonderful breeds is truly an impeccable show horse with added refinement.
